Chris Christou and Matt Keeling of Leigh Christou Accountants, were delighted to join long standing client, the Premier Group earlier this month in celebrating a historic milestone in Coventry manufacturing, with the production of the 1000th Morgan 3 wheeled car. At its state of the art manufacturing facility at Walsgrave, Coventry, Group Chairman, Denis Meagher welcomed The Lord Mayor of Coventry and was also joined by major automotive customers including Morgan Cars, Jaguar Land Rover and McLaren.
Two years ago Leigh Christou Limited were instrumental in assisting The Premier Group in securing funding for its state of the art 2D and 3D laser cutting and welding equipment, as well as assisting in securing premises to house the new 20,000sq ft facility at Cross Point Walsgrave. The overall investment of £2 million was required as a result of winning the contract to manufacture the Olympic Torch for the 2012 Games.
The company is now reaping the rewards of the investment made and with the continued support and assistance of Leigh Christou Limited the Company is now planning to invest in a further facility in Coventry to build on its existing facilities at Walsgrave and Exhall.
